Kyra Minturn

 Kyra Minturn (born August 19, 1965), is an American actress. Her most prominent role is that of Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson, on TNT's crime series The Closer. Sedgwick was honored with an Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award and an Emmy Award for her portrayal as Johnson in 2007. Following the conclusion of the seventh season, the series was cancelled on the 13th of August 2012. Sedgwick's performance as Madeline Wuntch in the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine is also notable. Sedgwick received a Golden Globe Award for her performance in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's other film roles include Oliver Stone's Born of the Fourth of July (1989), Cameron Crowe's The Ones (1992), Heart and Souls (1993), Phenomenon (1996), What's cooking (2000) as well as Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2013). Sedgwick was a New York City native, the daughter of Patricia Rosenwald (nee Rosenwald) was an educator and therapist for families as well as Henry Dwight Sedgwick VI as the venture capitalist. Her mother was Jewish. Her dad was Episcopalian of English descent. Sedgwick has announced that she is Jewish and participates in Passover meal times.
