Lara Logan
Lara Logan (born 29/03/71) is a South African television, radio and war correspondent. She was an CBS News reporter from 2002 until 2018.60 Minutes executive producers Jeff Fager and Lara Logan said that her inaccurate and biased report on the 2012 Benghazi attacks "the biggest error I've made in my 10-year watching." She joined the Sinclair Broadcast Group in 2019, a conservative media company. 4 On January 4, 2020 she was a part of Fox Nation. Fox News is a streaming service that requires a subscription. She stated that she had been "dumped by the network" in March 2022. Logan was a news reporter at Durban's Sunday Tribune (1988-1989) and the Daily News (1990-1992). In 1992, she joined Reuters Television in Africa, primarily as an executive producer. After four years, she moved into freelance journalism, landing assignments as a reporter, editor/producer with ITN as well as Fox/SKY, CBS News, ABC News (in London), NBC, and the European Broadcasting Union. Reporting on major events, such as the bombings that took place in 1998 at the United States Embassy in Nairobi and Tanzania as well as the conflicts within Northern Ireland and the Kosovo conflict, she worked for CNN.
